The Beardstown Police Report the following:

Papy Ngoma Muenda, 42, of Beardstown was charged with wireless telephone use while driving on Aug. 4.  Bond was posted.
Shaye Anne Gregory, 34, of Jacksonville was charged with disobeying a stop sign Aug. 8 at 8th and Wall. Bond was posted.
Efran Reynoso-Palencia, 37, of Chicago was charged with no valid driver’s license Aug. 11 at 4th and Edwards streets. He was given a notice to appear.
Garry S. Ham, 40, of rural Mt. Sterling was cited for disobeying a stop sign Aug. 8 at 4th and Edwards. Bond was posted.
Minerva Quintana, 31, of Beardstown, was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle Aug. 8 at 8th and Bay. She was given a notice to appear.
Maximo Patlan Jr., 41, of Beardstown was taken to the Schuyler County Jail after being charged with domestic battery Aug. 9.
Efrain Vaquero Cortes, 27, of Beardstown was given a notice to appear on a citation of operating an uninsured vehicle on Aug. 9.
Gisele Ndiang Asuza, 28, of Beardstown was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle on Aug. 8. She was given notice to appear.
Raquel L. Johnston, 43, of Beardstown was lodged in the Schuyler County Jail after being charged with domestic battery on Aug. 9.
Harry Rodriguez-Rivera, 39, of Beardstown was taken to the Schuyler County Jail Aug. 8 after being charged with violating an order of protection.
Matthew J. Mason, 25, was apprehended Aug. 10 on a Pike County warrant for failure to appear for DUI and possession of cannibas. Bond was posted.
Accidents
Beardstown Police investigated an accident at 4th and Lafayette streets on Aug. 5. Linda Severns of Browning was backing out of a parking space and struck the left front fender of a vehicle driven by Terry Quinn of Beardstown.
Diana S. Paisley, 48, of rural Rushville reported that her unoccupied parked vehicle was struck in the rear bumper by an unknown vehicle which left the scene, failing to notify anyone of the accident. The incident occurred Aug. 9.
Buck D. Miller, 49, of Huntsville, Ala., was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his vehicle rear-ended a truck on the north side of the Illinois River Bridge approach on July 30. The truck in turn hit another vehicle in front of it. The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department handled the accident.
